You ever buy an album here cheap, and then realize later you really should’ve paid more for it? That’s the case with this one.
An amazing metal release, near top tier for me. The only thing that brings it down a bit is the placing of the 20 min “Mauer” at the beginning. Now understand, I like this song, but I think Tracks 2 and 3 serve better as an opener. And Mauer could’ve closed out the album with its intensity after the preceding “quieter” tracks.
I LOVE THIS DEBUT!!! Brian Parker

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent

Extraordinary work by Antrisch, can't stop listening to it although Black Metal usually struggles to convince me.
Same like for Antrisch's EXPEDITION I: Dissonanzgrat applies: This album is strong from its first sounds of creaking wooden hull to its last sounds of wind and waves, deciding for a favourite track would not do justice for the geniality of the remaining five, the one coming closest to a favourite one could be I FESTGEFROREN - Packeisfalle in my opinion. onkelchristoph
